City bulk pickup or a hauler?

Detroit residents can put a limited amount of bulk trash at the curb on their scheduled pickup: up to about 2 cubic yards and no more than 1,000 pounds, per the city's 2025 DPW curbside guide. Bigger loads, items that can't go to the curb, or a move-out deadline are when a hauler makes sense.

Suburbs like Dearborn, Warren and Southfield set their own bulk rules through their trash contracts, so check your city's schedule first. If it won't take it, or you don't want to wait, send us photos.

How much does junk removal cost?

It depends on how much of the truck the load fills and what's in it. Text photos to (313) 546-6644 or use the form for a free quote.

Do I have to carry things out?

No. The crew carries items out of the house, basement or garage and loads them.
